Let’s learn a lesson from the Europeans who work to live, not live to work! They take a minimum of 5 weeks vacation per year and are just as productive and a heck of a lot happier and healthier it seems!
I agree! We “North Americans” are totally nuts! We work work work and stress stress stress…it’s almost like we forgot how to play and how to let go. I have been really pondering this subject over the holidays…and even though we take 12 weeks away per year…the weeks and months that I am in town working…are hard core! hahaha!
This year, I am concentrating on feeling lighter. (so that I can feel on a Monday…like I feel on a Friday).
I will keep you posted on that.

“i sound like a picket fence” haha youre so funny isabelle.
a lot of things discussed in this episode apply to me so i really enjoyed it.
i have been trying to be less of a workaholic for a couple of years now. i just got back from a two week vacation to central america with a mindset of not getting anxiety about what needs to be done when i get back. i must say i was a lot better at it than i thought and i had an amazing time. i am learning to eliminate things that make life complicated and stressful. life can be simple but you have to let it be.
Annik, glad that you enjoyed the episode. The best way to have peace of mind is, as you said, to learn to eliminate the things that dims your bulb. And yes, you are totally right, life can be simple if you let it be. Well said girl…now, the trick is to do it!
My favorite quote: “Well done is better than well said”
Have fun eliminating and letting go! You can totally do it.
